- Ghostwriting Package #1 – $38 per hour – After receiving word and chapter count, as well as basic story and character information, the writer will provide character notes and an outline (with as much or as little detail as the client wants) for the client’s approval, or will receive an outline from the client. After approval (if applicable), the writer will send half of whatever work is completed at the end of each week when they send the weekly invoice. Once the invoice is paid, the remaining work will be sent. After completion of the manuscript, the writer will run a spellcheck before sending the manuscript to the client. This package includes unlimited collaboration, as well as unlimited revisions on characters, outlines, and manuscripts at the same hourly rate. A blurb can also be added at the same rate. Screenshots every 20-30 minutes can be requested to follow progress and will be sent each week.
- Ghostwriting Package #2 – $0.05 per word – After receiving word and chapter count, as well as basic story and character information (and outline if the client is providing an outline with at least 1-2 sentences required per chapter), the writer will send an invoice for the required deposit, which will be made up of the approximate word count for the story, as well as any character notes, outlining, or blurb writing that the writer will be providing. Once the deposit is paid, if character notes and / or an outline are requested, they will be completed and sent to the client for the client’s approval. If the client has provided the outline, work will begin on the story itself. After completion of the manuscript, the writer will run a spellcheck before sending the manuscript to the client. Errors on the writer’s part will be corrected at no additional costs. Clients may request 2 minor revisions (see contract for details) at no additional cost. Any other revisions must be negotiated at an additional cost.
- Sprucing / Polishing Package – $35 per hour – Includes as many different areas as needed (rewriting / writing an entire story is NOT covered under this package; that is ghostwriting)
- Developmental Editing Package #1 – $35 per hour – Includes option to correct factual errors, continuity errors, plot holes and / or discrepancies.
- Developmental Editing Package #2 – $0.03 per word – Total is set by the word count of the file as shown by Word upon receipt of the file.
- Line Editing Package #1 – $32 per hour – Includes option to have any or all run-on sentences, fragments, grammar, spelling, punctuation, wordiness, repetition, word choice, awkwardness corrected in manuscript.
- Line Editing Package #2 – $0.025 per word – Total is set by the word count of the file as shown by Word upon receipt of the file.
- Copy Editing Package #1 – $30 per hour – Includes option to provide suggestions for clarity and to correct vagueness rather than just highlighting them.
- Copy Editing Package #2 – $0.02 per word – Total is set by the word count of the file as shown by Word upon receipt of the file.
- Proofreading Package #1 – $28 per hour – Allows for 1 area of overall focus to evaluate and provide feedback for. (Example: Please evaluate appropriateness of dialogue for the intended audience, genre, and setting.)
- Proofreading Package #2 – $0.01 per word – Total is set by the word count of the file as shown by Word upon receipt of the file.
- Beta Reading Package #1 – $25 per hour – Unlimited questions.
- Beta Reading Package #2 – $0.01 per word – 5 questions.
- Beta Reading Package #3 – $0.005 per word – 2 questions.
- Blurb Package #1 – $25 per hour – After client provides full manuscript, writer will read and then write a 50-100 word blurb. Comes with unlimited revisions at same rate.
- Blurb Package #2 – $20 per hour – After client provides summary with necessary information, writer will write a 50-100 word blurb. Comes with unlimited revisions at same rate.
- Blurb Package #3 – $25 flat rate – After client provides summary with necessary information, writer will write a 50-100 word blurb. Comes with 1 revision.
- Blurb Package #4 – $20 flat rate – After client provides summary with necessary information, writer will write a 50-100 word blurb. No revisions unless there’s an error on the part of the writer.

Discounts Offered
- Repeat customers, regardless of the type or size of the first purchase at the quoted price will receive a discount for all additional work.
- Additional hourly projects will be at $1 less an hour than the quoted price. For example, after purchasing Beta Reading Package #2 at the quoted price, a customer purchases Blurb Package #1. They will be charged $24 per hour for that package.
- Additional per word projects will receive 10-words per 100 words free. For example, after purchasing Beta Reading Package #2 at the quoted price, a customer purchases Developmental Editing Package #3 for a 50K story. Instead of being charged $0.03 / word for 50,000 words ($1500), they’ll be charged $0.03 / word for 45,000 words ($1350).
- Referrals. If a customer refers someone who then purchases a package, the original customer will receive 5% off the total cost of their next package purchase (and, yes, this will be combined with the repeat customer discount). While referral discounts can be received multiple times, only one referral discount at a time can be applied to a package. For example, three customer referrals means 5% off the next three packages purchased.
